hi folks, need to some help please. I'm about to put in a subect access request for location data, but before I do so, can someone tell me what they'll actually provide?

I'm hoping it will give precise location details of where the phone is/was at various point throughout the day?

thanks in advance

Hi,

This is a link to what a SAR includes and also what it does not include.

Subject to Access Request.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512gb.

Hi @aqua0

A SAR won't be able to provide any information on location data, it's not even something Vodafone would be able to provide.

You can find the information  which can be provided on a SAR below.

Hi. What sort of phone do you have? I use android and if I open my google dashboard you can check location etc on there.

Hiya, this SAR is pre IOS/Android phones, it's back from when I had a bullet proof Nokia 🙂

It states in the guidance note that they can. It's what info it actually provides that I'm interested in.

Live Chat or customer service on 191 will be able to officially clarify what they can do.

Not sure if they will be able to provide location information from many years back, the other stuff they say is for 12 months or less. You can but ask and see what they say.

Seems they can only tell me if I was in the UK or not. My passport does the same thing! Lol
