For the last week since storms we have been unable to access Vodafone. We have to go about 20 miles to get a signal. Tried all the usual off/on, remove sim card, etc. but then found other people have the same problem. Spent a long time on the phone to Vodafone (maps show no problems!) who eventually said "technology is only so good" and there is an intermittent fault in the area (actually permanent for a week) and "it may sort itself out in a few days"! Does this mean they wash their hands of it? Whenever I go out I normally transfer the landline to mobile but now I can't and I am losing business.

Hi there
If you are experiencing network issues, the first thing to do is go through the steps in the Network Troubleshooting Guide.
If these steps don't sort out the problem, please could you post the template with your results back here so that the eForum Team can investigate the issue for you.
