Mobile Broadband - Having Problems Accessing My Work Site?

Can some fellow users of mobile bb give this and this site a test and see if you can actually load them? I can load it from our dsl connection but not from my mobile bb, which is kind of a pain since I need to access it several times a day hehe.

Thanks for supplying the site examples, I'm in the office at the momment and nowhere near a data connection, we'll have to sit tight and wait for a helpfull forum member to participate in the experiment, at lease we'll be able to narrow things down that way,

Neither of those links come up on my wired broadband, I didn't wait for error messages.

Thats really odd because they come right up on my BT DSL connection but not my mbb. They are in the states so they might take a few seconds to load.

You're not getting cached pages by any chance?

Neither reply to pings and traceroute doesn't get to the site, it gets as far as
15 rrcs-24-97-224-229.nys.biz.rr.com (24.97.224.229) about 120ms rtt

Maybe a routing problem if you still get it via BT but seems unlikely as it's
getting to rr com.

Certainly not cached (cleared the cache), I've tested them on multiple machines and used my iphone hehe. Our IT staff in the states are...special. So it wouldn't surprise me if they had something odd in place. I'm going to put in a ticket with them about it as well and see if they have some weird reverse dns setup or something like that.




Neither will reply to pings, they have icmp blocked. I know that much but it should still resolve to an ip address.




Thanks for giving them a try. I just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one who cannot get to them reliably.

Interesting development. I used an online proxy and I was able to get to both sites. So I would imagine it's either a routing issue or something on my offices end that is blocking me.
