Mobile Broadband - K3565 R with MacBook

I have a K3565 Refresh dongle with a non expiring payg sim. It connects in my friends pc but it refuses to connect in my MacBook.
I also have a K3570 Z with an expiring sim this connects fine in the MacBook.

Ideally I would like to use the 3565R with the non expiring sim in my Mac, I have downloaded the up to date software from the V/fone site and my Mac is running OS X 10.6.4

Can anyone shed any light on what the problem might be?

Can you tell us exactly what is happening when you plug the modem in?
Do you get any error messages?
If so what are they?
What lights are showing on the modem?
Is the SIM card inserted correctly?

Evening Wayne

When I attempt to connect with the 3565R 'Opening Mob. Con' comes up, after about 25 secs 'Closing Mob Con' comes up. I also notice that in my network connections it attempts to connect through a heading 'Vod 3565 Con' with info as connection details all blank. These read Tel no. Account and password.
The light is flashing green during all this time.

When I use my 3570Z it connects no problem but it connects through an 'ethernet connection' and details all relate to an ip address not a tel number as above.

As I said previously the 3565R works fine in my mates pc.

If you need any other info please let me know.

Firstly can you uninstall any other software you are using for the dongle and reinstall the latest Mac software from this link.
