Hi Dunne08,

Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here :).

Which version of VMC (Vodafone Mobile Connect) are you running? If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend you download the latest supported version from this link: VMC 9.4.6

Give that a go and see how you get on. If you still experience issues then please let me know which version of Windows you're running.

Hi Dunne08

Thanks for your post here, just to ensure that things have definitely been removed I just want you to try this :-

First thing will be similar to what you've already done. With the modem unplugged on Windows go into
Start
Control Panel
Phone and Modems (If you cant see this, click 'Switch to classic view' in the top left)
Modems tab
remove any entries relating to the modem.
Now go back to Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs
Uninstall the VMC (Vodafone Mobile Connect) software and VMC Run Time components (if present). Now reboot and reinstall the software.

If you have a Vodafone, or unlocked, mobile, another thing you could try is inserting the SIM from your modem into the phone and carrying out a manual roam (if you're unsure of how to do this just find the phone in our Help Centre here, head for the 'Network' for the phone, select a non Vodafone network first and the re-select Vodafone. Then with the Sim still in, access Vodafone Live! and go to www.google.com.

Please let me know how you get on.

Thanks

Wayne

Hello Dunne08

We'll have to look at the sim card's mobile number to verify whether there is anther issue occurring here.

It is possible there may be something wrong at network level, I'm arranging for an email to be sent out to you now. Please reply as soon as you can and we'll be happy to help.

Thanks

Hi Reidar Thanks For The Reply But Theres No Need, Its Working!
Not Sure How, The Other Day I Updated The VMC Software, Cleared All Modems And I Took Out The Sim And Put It Back In And It Didnt Work, But 2Day It Worked! Not Sure How?

But Im Concerned If I Take Out The Modem From The USB And Plug It Into Another USB Port That It Wont Work???
Im Gonna Keep It In That Port, To Be Safe, Or Does It Make A Diffefence?
