Hi,
My first post in this forum, so I hope have the correct place.
I have Vodafones's 1Gb pay as you go Mobile Broadband using the E160X USB dongle - all works fine, I am very happy with it.
However I now also have a phone which is 3G capable (Acer DX900 - Windows Mobile 6.1), and would very much like to be able to occasionally access broadband through this device instead of through my laptop by placing the SIM from the dongle in my phone.
Is this feasible and/or allowed, and if so where can I find some settings to configure the phone.
Many thanks in advance,
Colin

Unfortunately, the phone does not have any settings for Vodafone (I bought it sim free).
I also cannot see any reason why I shouldn't be able to this, but need the Vodafone access settings to try to get it to work. Since posting I managed to find this article:
<>
I have tried these, but get a 'cannot connect for unknown reason'.....
Cheers,

The phone is an Acer DX900 (also out there as an Eten branded model before Acer bought them) running WM6.1. I suspect from the support link I posted earlier that some tweak to my account may be necessary to allow me in..... (it is a pay as you go account, which looks like it needs a different access point name etc.)
Many thanks for your help,
Colin
