It means just as it says, the amount of cash credit on the account. On a data account the credit has to be a certain level before it converts into a data allowance, so if you have a credit balance on there below this threshold, it would display as current credit. If the balance reaches the point required for a data pack, when converted, the data pack cost is removed from the current credit.
