Mobile Wifi R206 Help

I got one of these yesterday for my ipad but I cant connect on it.

I have bought one with 2 gb PAYG preinstalled on it and have registered it with vodafone.

I can connect it to my laptop but it only allows me to access the top up page of the v fone website. I did top it up with a fiver to see if that worked. It didnt.

I hope i have not wasted my money!

Thanks for your reply. I have not connected to a hot spot as we don't seem to have many in Hull! I have tried connecting to the dongle all over, where it previously connected no problem.

I have actually been into a Vodafone store this morning and they are really confused why it doesn't work! They did not think to try it on another phone but told me I would have to call Vodafone, but I have tried a few days and been on hold for over an hour each time.

I don't know what else to do as the dongle is no use if I cannot use it on my devices.
