Mobile wifi r207 keeps switching off

Just purchased the Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi R207, set it up as directed and plugged it into the mains. Everytime I turn it on it then turns itself off again after a minute or so. Is this a known problem? Does it need time to charge the battery even if it's plugged into the mains? 

The battery light stays green but everything else goes off.

Hi there

 

If this is the first time you have used the device, I'd recommend leaving it on charge for a few hours before actually using it. This gives the battery a chance to build up charge and could prevent the issue you describe.

 

If it is still doing it after you've charged it for a few hours, it could be that the device is faulty.  Simply take it back to the store you purchased it from and they should be able to swap it out for you.
