ÛHi @Eltonritchie
You cannot transfer the contract to a network operator in Canada I'm afraid.
You'd either need to pay it off by contacting customer service when it's time. They'll need 30 days notice.
"The Early Termination Fee is the total amount of line rental outstanding for the remainder of the contract, without VAT, and less a 2% rebate. This figure will be calculated on the price prior to any discounts. You can confirm the exact figure by calling 191."
You could unlock the phone to all networks to increase its street value, sell it and use the funds to help pay off the cancellation fee.
Or look at Transfer of Ownership which is someone you know passing a Credit Check and taking on the contract.
If that someone can't pass a credit check etc then do you have a trusted person who could use your SIM card. You can change your Bank Details for their bank information so they pay by Direct Debit but you'd still be ultimately responsible for payments. I stress it would be someone you trusted.
I'll add some help links in a minute.
Vodafone and how to Cancel Account.

Your contract is with Vodafone UK.
The only things you would be able to do would be to terminate early paying the early termination fees or do a change of contract ownership.
However, you would still be able to use the phone in Canada but this would be subject to roaming charges.
If you contact Vodafone, they will be able to give you the termination charge figure.
Please remember to keep the direct debit in place until you have received the final bill with a zero balance to let you know there is no further responsibility towards the contract and payments.
