Anyone else having 3g and 2g signal problems with the Iphone 5?
Im going into my 4th week now with issues in these particular areas (Work and Home) it isnt too bad at home as I can connect to wifi.
I finally had the chance to call through to vodafone yesterday, they checked the area to inform me that is was moderate in both areas on both 2&3g, they reset all my settings on my phone which didnt help. (Spoke to Mamhoud)
I was left with, you will have to leave this with me, we will text you when we have fixed the issue! So I guess I am left paying for a service on a more expensive contract & Phone for something that I am unable to use, unless I am at home..... I thought this was meant to be a "mobile"

). Does the issue happen in just one location. If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service ? No two different locations], was intermittent in Staffordshire over the weekend.
2). What is the full postcode of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the forum, add it to your profile here. NN14 2QT and NN15 6PP
3). Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? Unable to try in another Phone at present
4). Are there any issues in your area already reported on the Faults Board? there was earlier in the year for Burton Latimer which isnt too far away, however seems to be resolved?
5). Does this issue happen on 2G, 3G or both? To check, go to the Help Centre, select your phone and then select "network". Both 2g and 3g
6). What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? - I have a full mobile signal, however just the "circle" for internet signal.
7) When did you first notice this issue? March 18th 2013
😎 Is the issue permanent or intermittent (If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs)? Permittiment in those postcodes.

Hi chunkyrolo
The NN14 postcode has no 3G coverage. So there aren’t any faults here.
I’ve checked the NN15 postcode and the site in that area (30513) looks to be having a few issues with 3G. So that we can investigate this, I have sent you a private message.
You can find your PM inbox here
Thanks

2g and 3g data has been slowly getting worse for a few months around NN15. Today I couldn't even open one connection while I was in an area that used to have a very good 3g signal and fast download speeds - even ping completely failed to servers that I knew would reply. I bought a new mobile a couple of weeks ago because I thought it was just my old one playing up but it has made no difference, I also got a new sim card since I needed a micro sim for the new mobile.

Thanks for letting us know.
I did a speed test at NN15 6XB which is where I had no connection at all the other day and got a download speed of just over 4Mbps and upload of 0.6Mbps. This was at about the same time of the day too, so it seems to be fixed.

Hi,
I got to work at 08.45 and had a full 3g service, then it dropped out, I reset the service and it came back.
Once again I shall keep an eye on this over the next few days.
Many thanks
Marie.
