New I phone 5 upgrade sure signal problem

Hi,

live just upgraded. You have de activated my old sim and so I'm without a phone as the signal box isn't registering my new one! 

I have de registered and registered, switched on and off, waited and still nothing. Please help! I live in a very rural area and my mobile is my only form of communication with my childrens school so I am getting totally stressed worrying. 

Please help. 

My serial number on box is    21197060862

Well no one replied to my post but just thought I'd update anyway in case it helps anyone else. 

My signal box is working fine, I think it really is just a matter of waiting a few hours and it connects.
