New Sure Signal cannot access the router

We have a Sure Signal 3, it has been registered online and this has been confirmed by email.

 

Currently the light are:

Power:             Red Flashing

Internet            Off

In Service:       Off

In Use: Solid     Orange

There are known to be compatibililty issues with some BT supplier routers, more details in this thread. Whilst the thread identifies the Business Hub as the main culprit I recall there were some issues with certain Home Hub combinations.

 

The light combination would suggest that the VSS isn't getting out onto the internet which would indicate that the ports on the router are not being set up.
