As there is no option to purchase the sure signal online, I was told by a Vodafone rep that there would be a new one out. He told me this would happen last week... I was wondering when this date actually is....
The new design makes a nonsense of the advice about where to locate them for them to work properly, away from wires etc. Now you have to plug them directly into an available mains socket (where all the wires are) unless you use an extension lead as I had to to make it work and which then seems to make the new design rather pointess.
I'm afraid we don't have any information on the cost of the new Sure Signal at the moment. Thanks to N_R for providing you with the information on how it works though

They should be £100 but for the next 2 weeks they are half price at £50. Why a special offer when then are in short supply is anyone's guess but I paid £50 for mine at Lowestoft's store.
They are available already, I am using one, but they are only being allocated through the stores. If you want one you have to go to a store and ask them to check the nearest store that has them in stock. Be prepared to drive there and hope they have not sold them before you get there. Incredibly the Vodfone stores have no way of contacting each other except by email to individual staff.
