Hi,
I upgraded to the latest iOS software last night when I received the notification in my settings tab. Today I have had no service at all and was just wondering if anyone is having the same issue, and if could be connected with the upgrade from last night?
I've tried resetting the network, airplane mode, turning the phone off and on and doing a hard reset with the home and power buttons.
Is there anything else I can try? Any guidance appreciated!

Hi,
I would really appreciate some guidance here.
I've tried all the usual items that you're supposed to do but there is still no service today on my phone.
This occurs in NE3 and NE4, and pretty much anywhere I have driven / been throughout Newcastle upon Tyne since yesterday morning.
The network checker didn't have much to say when I used it yesterday and today it says there is unplanned issues in NE4 7YD however my workmates are all on Vodafone and they currently have full service, whilst I have none.
I upgraded to iOS 8.2 on Tuesday night, my service dropped out Wednesday morning - could this be it and would it be worth downgrading back to iOS 8.1.3?
The reboots, resetting settings, trying the SIM, the network checker... I've done all of this to no avail and I really need service please.

I am running 2 x 5s with ios 8.1 without any problems.
Are you able to try a firnds sim card in your phone to eliminate the possibilty of a problem with the sim card?
You are not able to downgrade the ios.

To do so you need to jailbreak the phone, which then exposes you to securiyy risks.
