No dialing tone on landline and cannot hear it ring

i have one landline plugged in. It has no dialing tone and people ring me but I can't hear them. This happens on one landline. I cannot check the network as this is a landline issue, you supply my landline connection. I have switched off and started my phone on the wall and checked the connections.
i have checked existing threads and cannot see it as an issue. My postcode is La27lr

You may have a fault on the line. If you contact the support team they will be able to run tests on the line to identify the issue and get it resolved for you. The number is 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 08080 034 515  (free from UK landline and mobiles)
