Bought a new iPhone 6 plus on contract today and when I turned it on in the shop it said no service, the sales advisor assured me that it was because there was no mobile signal in the shop, when I got home it was still saying no service rang up 3 times now and they said each time that they have sorted the problem and it will be connected within 10 minutes my dad also got a iPhone 5s at the same time and it has been working fine

Hi there

 

It sounds like the SIM card hasn't become active yet.  Usually they become active overnight so it should be working by tomorrow morning.
