1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain: it's not working anywhere around Hawkinge

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? Yes
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? Just says no service
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? All
6) When did you first notice this issue? This morning and has been the same all day
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Looking at your postcode in the Vodafone Network Checker Here
Your local masts report as Ok but on zooming out on the map it does report this for surrounding masts which can occasionally affect local masts if Vodafone are re routing network traffic to compensate.
"We're trying to fix a network issue which might be affecting calls coverage. It’s now being investigated. We'll update this page as soon as we know more."
There is an option within the above link to Register for Updates.

It may help to reboot your phone by turning it Off and On.
