Afternoon Voda Reps 

QQ Regarding Note 7 Queries etc. 

1. Swapouts - Naturally Voda are doing these. The official statement says To call after 19th Sept If you want to exchange for Note 7 device. Will it be a straight Swap For Swap with DPD (IE Their "Swapit" Facility) ??

Can these be done in store? The guys in Crawley said it could be done like for like. I'd just rather not be without my device for more than a couple of days if Im still paying for it.

2. What happens on Siebel in relation to tariffs and billing? Will these be exempt due to the issues? IE Old Tariff still rolling on? Etc

I move between different phones quite a lot. I've been using the + version of the iphone for a couple of years but was seriously considering going back to the Note before the current crisis.

Now I have an iPhone 7+ and it is a great device. I can recommend it and frankly the differences to Android are really very minor other than the customisation of different desktops.

Given this latest issue with the Note 7 I have decided to unwind the upgrade completely and have requested from Vodafone a returns bag for my renewed Note 7 and will revert to my previous contract and phone - I have no confidence in the device and I doubt if in the future I will be such a keen early adopter...

I have no idea where I am going next, the Note 7 ticked so many boxes and I am not sure there is anything in the market that will do the same (Pixel? one plus 3? ). iPhone is out as there are a couple of apps I use that are not on the iPhone..

I ended up going to White City Westfield today. Flagship store, not a Iphone 7+ in sight, so went with a iPhone 7 256Gb... Black Matte. 

Credit To Vodafone today, they excelled in getting this sorted... 

Such a shame that this went do the way it did with Sammie...

It is a shame. I had my exchanged Note 7 delivered only yesterday. In anticipation of Samsung demanding all handsets are returned I've arranged for my broken Note 4 to be repaired. Good phone.

I will cancel my Note 7 contract and hang on to my repaired Note 4 until Samsung get their sheyite together and launch a new flagship phone.

Agree with you about the new flagship... I hope to dear god that Sammie recover from this. And Release a half decent Note device again xd

I have a relatively large account with Vodafone...

They gave me £50 towards the costs of the device... I took the 24gb unl unl tariff... It wasn't much more than the note one I had...
