Afternoon Voda Reps
QQ Regarding Note 7 Queries etc.
1. Swapouts - Naturally Voda are doing these. The official statement says To call after 19th Sept If you want to exchange for Note 7 device. Will it be a straight Swap For Swap with DPD (IE Their "Swapit" Facility) ??
Can these be done in store? The guys in Crawley said it could be done like for like. I'd just rather not be without my device for more than a couple of days if Im still paying for it.
2. What happens on Siebel in relation to tariffs and billing? Will these be exempt due to the issues? IE Old Tariff still rolling on? Etc

Its funny that there was no reply at all from Vodafone's side in this thread, untill their poor customer service got announced on daily mail...
I'm so glad someone took the initiative and did it, people need to know about it and not fall in to the same "trap" a lot of us did.

Quite funny this but I called out Vodafone because of 2 things.
1) Im a member of Consumer Action Group. We lost our Vodafone rep because they were intermittently ignoring the forum and causing the Site Team tons of issues.
2) The 2nd part was I was fed up of all the BS that Voda CS was throwing around, Then my device went up in smoke and I had to get it replaced. Samsung did great while Vodafone Did nothing....
I dont think it is fair that they should get away with what they have been doing in the last few months to customers.
Im pretty sure CS staff make stuff up as they go along but in the last 3 days, I have had excellent service from the Execs Team and White City store.
All i would say is if you are not happy, complain to the CEOs, explain why you are unhappy and state that you will be taking this further should you not get the desired result.

I was told yesterday when I called that they couldnt find my order on the system, and when they eventually did it didnt have a tariff attached to it??
The lady I spoke to (she did try her best bless her) told me to phone back in five working days!
So I spent 35 minutes on the call and was asked to phone back in 5 days. Im pretty sure I was fobbed off to be honest.
To make matters worse, i dont have another handset to use - so will need to continue to use this for the five days (I hope it doesnt go bang!)
I now wish to cancel this phone/contract and return all of the accessories and I will getting another contract elsewhere (purely because Vodafone dont have the handset I want).
@Vodafone officials - can someone contact me to arrange this please?

This is an interesting development from Samsung in the US
U.S. Note7 Refund and Exchange Program
What if I want to exchange my Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone?
As a sign of our appreciation for your patience and loyalty, we are offering up to a $100 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets if you exchange your Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone, less any incentive credits already received.

I got a call today and the phone will be collected tomorrow or Monday (DPD to let me know). I spoke to retentions(returns weren't any help) yesterday and was told the reason for the delay in collection is Royal Mail won't transport the Note 7. Other arrangements were being made/agreed and to expect a call in the following 3 working days. I am being moved to sim only while I wait for the next Note to appear.
Hopefully, those of you still waiting will get called soon.
