Afternoon Voda Reps
QQ Regarding Note 7 Queries etc.
1. Swapouts - Naturally Voda are doing these. The official statement says To call after 19th Sept If you want to exchange for Note 7 device. Will it be a straight Swap For Swap with DPD (IE Their "Swapit" Facility) ??
Can these be done in store? The guys in Crawley said it could be done like for like. I'd just rather not be without my device for more than a couple of days if Im still paying for it.
2. What happens on Siebel in relation to tariffs and billing? Will these be exempt due to the issues? IE Old Tariff still rolling on? Etc

My tuppence worth - after the text telling me to return my Note 7, and asking to call or visit instore, I spent 40 minutes on October 14th waiting in a store before being told I had to phone customer service.
I phoned, gave my details and was promised that one of the specialist team woudl call me back within 3 to 5 days.. After hearing nothing for 11 days I called again today, and have been promised that the returns envelope is on its way now. I now have to post the package back, then once the device is received at the warehouse I have to call AGAIN to sort out my contract.
They have the cheek to read out the T&C's about all acessories being present and not damaged, but no consideration is given to the huge inconvenience this has caused the user.
I will definitely be leaving Vodfone at the earliest possible opportunity.

Just had a call frrom Vodafone infoming me that the Note 7 was subject to a recall and telling me what my options were !
Only when I told them that I am in the middle of a long and painful dialogue regarding this did she check the system to see this!
This is the latest from a company that had denied the recall (even when it was on their own website) and later confirmed there was a recall , but to kep using it , but not to charge it to 100% (there had already been the 60% hamstring update) and not to use it whilst it was charging! Even though all other advice was to stop using it immediately!
It is as if they are dreaming up new ways to disappoint customerrs,

Has anyone actually received a refund for their Note 7 yet?
I sent mine back on the 4th November, no 'automated text'; so called on the 14th to be told they had received it 5 days previoulsy!
Got cut off after 30 minutes on hold whilst they 'calculated my refund'
Called again on 18/11, put through to billing who had no idea how to calculate the refund and asked if they could 'call me back in one week'.
To me, I shoudl be refunded eveything I have paid, minus a fair charge for the call and data I have used.
I have moved to a SIM only contract on Voda, but only because they are the cheapest at the moment.
I am on the verge of taking legal advice on this shambles.

you need to raise this with the onburdsman, i created a sperate post with the process. The consumer action line (trading standard) are able to provide the legal advice and then the onburdsman will follow this up, can all be done by phone. Eventuallly it will get to a dedicated team at Vodafone that deal with the onburdsman and then you should get settlement.

I can see the refund in my on-line bill but need to get the money out. As I have cancelled both my lines I am just waiting to get the last line closed next week and then will be badgering them for the money from the account. It looks like they offset the money back against future account payments which is very naughty.... but typical...

I did get in touch using the information you provided, but you have just ignored me, so I do not see the point of your message.
If anyone at Vodafone cares, I am still no closer to my refund and will be going doen the ombudsman route.
