OK Vodafone, Where is my phone?

Ok I'm just feeling rather dejected now. This has turned from disappointment to being pretty livid. 

 

It would seem that there is no-one at VF that has a clue what is going on. I have called so many times and get nowhere There is no-one that I can be escalated to that can tell me anything. You have taken my pre-order on the promise my order would be delivered on launch. Your company made that bold promise, not others, not Apple. Your promises and other communications on the lead up to launch influenced my decision on where to purchase my phone and Vodafone tariff. You have not been able to provide me with my order, nor can anyone give me any information on when it will be fulfilled. This is nothing other than misselling, if I had known this I would have went elsewhere, and had my order long ago. 

 

On top top of this it would now seem that others that ordered the same model several hours and days after have now received their phone or are getting it today. So my frustration has turned to anger to say the least. No one can tell me why this is, they won't escalate me to anywhere that can, because apparently no one has access to this information. I'm they've only to read from the internal communication. Someone must know what is going on. This is appalling service. I will be taking this further.

 

Again i ask, where is my order?

Yer afraid to say it. I agree. I ain't been one of these people to phone and pester Vodafone but how can it work that there is absolutely no cue system in place for pre orders people that ordered and confirmed well after us are getting phones. This is an utter joke to go with all the other useless crap is just the ice it on the cake really. Please can someone from Vodaphone explain how this happens and also the point in preorder in the first place if it's completely random as to who gets them first? 

Ok add another to the list of those I know ordered later and are receiving theirs. I know of at least 5 now. That is obviously only the ones I am aware of, there must be plenty more. What is going on?

It's been more than 2 weeks since iPhone 7 release and till now I still don't understand why it takes Vodafone 4-6 weeks for the delivery when EE and others can deliver with in 21 days. Could any one please elucidate this please?

@Cara_B are you having a laugh? Was your response really to link that topic to me? Are Vodafone incapable of telling when a customer is at breaking point? I am livid that this was the best response you could think of. Did you read my question at all? Have you read that thread? It is full of unanswered questions, I know as I am probably the most frequent poster in the topic, and not one Vodafone employee has responded to me in there either, the main reason that I created a new post. 

 

I hope you can respond with something more substantial. This didn't even begin to address any of my issues contained in my post. That response seemed like it was just to tick a box to say someone had commented.

I complain about your company's tactics of misselling to their potential customers and current customers and the only response I get is to tell me to go to a 130-odd page long topic where countless people are accusing you of the same? This is absurd!

Why do Vodafone engage in the misselling of products and services? Are there any staff who can answer my concerns? Why is there no complaints procedure? Why can I not find out what it is when I ask?

May I ask how and what you feel was mis sold ?

 

That information may help so that more information can be supplied. 

 

Customer service by 191 or Live Chat can access your account and account notes to check things. If something was agreed over the phone then some calls are recorded and retained for approximately 60 days. 

 

Also This eforum is owned and monitored by Vodafone U.K. We have members of the Vodafone Tech Team who are available to respond and Help where they can. They have the Vodafone logo next to their name. All posts are read by them.
