Just set up new Sure Signal device and there were no issues during set-up. All 3 lights are solid white.
My iPhone 5s ( o/s v 8.0.1 ) now has full 4-5 spots for service level whereas before it only had 1 and that was only when standing by living room window. I have tested and can use phone 100% OK.
My wife's iPhone which is same model and OS now does not receive any signal at all ( No Service ). This happened shortly after receiving the confirmation SMS after I added her number.
Daughter's Nokia 635 has shown no change in signal level ( only 1 bar in certain locations indoors ). She also received the SMS.
Broadband is Sky. Speed test shows down = 4.2Mb up = 1.2Mb
