My Council K3760 has a monthly contract SIM however appears not to be supported by the available VMB software. I personally would prefer to use my Vista laptop if at all possible. Thanks in anticipation of being able to download software and driver for the Globetrotter HSUPA.

Hi Guys,

We’re no longer able to send out the older versions of the software.

You can still get this by using the preloaded software on the dongle or by using the CD that it came with.

If you no longer have this, you’d need to buy a new dongle that is compatible with the latest software release.

While that's a Windows 8 issue the software should work with Windows 7.

The K3565 rev2 (K3565-z) will work with the latest version of Vodafone Mobile Broadband (VMB) software which can be downloaded from here.

You can see a compatibility list for the software here.

Has that changed? I was advised that K3565 rev2 would NOT work on Windows 8 with the software that was current in late 2013 and would NOT be supported by Vodafone in the future.

Is there a difference between 7 and 8 in this respect?

The K3565 isn't compatible but the K3565-z should work on Windows 8. 

We don't have information on the differences between Windows 7 & 8 unfortunately.

I have had to wipe my computer recently and now my dongle's software won't reload. I keep getting an error message. Its the old K3565 rev 2 on a laptop using windows XP. Will the current software run it?
