Has anyone else ever had an issue upgrading online?
My husband is in the Army so we get military discount, I went into store and they can't apply that without him but said if I upgrade on line this will automatically be transferred over, which is great as he might not be home in the 30 days to sign the paperwork again
So i came home yesterday and went to upgrade on line and it wouldn't show me any options (though my phone is due an upgrade) I spoke to someone last night who was going to refresh my online account and said to try tomorrow (today and refresh all my cache and cookies - which I did)
Today I try and its still not working, so again I spoke to someone on the live chat who said that the company is working on the website so that option may not be working (different than I was advised yesterday) I asked when it would be back up on line but they couldn't tell me
Instead I got to phone up to upgrade, which isn't good as I like to look through my options and assess which mobile is better for my needs along with what plan and they can't guarantee if my discount will be applied over the phone
So i have either been lied to last night or today about what the issue is - but now I'm stuck with a phone due to run out of contract in 10 days and no liable option to upgrade with the discount
So any help on getting the online upgrade screen to work by anyone who might have had this issue before will be much appreciated

If Cuistomer Services has told you that the discount will automatically transfer over, that is appalling. CS should be more than aware that the discount needs to be reapplied each and every time the contract is changed. There is further information for you below.

If you Husband is unable to confirm the discount, it may be better to put the upgrade on hold until he is back in the UK. This is your Husbands discount entitlement and you need to do everything possible to make sure you keep it.

I have a defence discount card which wives are entitled to
I can't put the upgrade on hold as it's due in 10 days and he is away with work and won't be back in the 30 days they give to fill out the form
He has his discount on his phone as well but it's for the people in the forces and for immediate family.
But the link above confirms that I can take my defence discount card into store which is all in my name
