I ordered an iPhone 6 plus 64 gb in space grey on 27/10. At the time of the order, the website said it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive, I know I'm still within that timeframe but I find it worrying that all I have received from Vodafone is confirmation of the order that says they will be in touch "shortly". I was expecting that I should have received some kind of update by now (nearly 2 weeks later) with regards to an estimated delivery. I can't log into my account online because whilst I have a username and password, there isn't anything for me to view because my account hasn't been set up yet. I've not been charged my upfront payment for handset yet, and no direct debit has been set up either. When I have entered my order number into the online tracker, it says the details are invalid. When I tried to discuss it with, quite frankly, an idiot in live chat, he just kept telling me that I needed to speak to the team that deals with order tracking, but never gave me any indication of how to get in touch with that team. I tried calling the customer services number today, but as a new customer there is no way for me to actually speak to anyone as it's all geared towards existing customers who have an account/telephone number. I muddled my way through the absolutely awful automated service to speak to someone in the retentions team (not the right place but figured they'd be able o transfer me through to someone who could help,) but as it took so long to get that far, I didn't then have the time to sit on hold for the estimated time of 17 minutes to speak to someone as I had to get back to work. The website now states delivery within 2-4 days, but surely if that is the case, I should have received an update by now? From everything else I have read on other threads about people waiting 6 weeks for a phone they ordered and being constantly lied to about their order status I am now beginning to be rather alarmed as my current contract with Orange is due to run out on 27/11 as I cancelled believing that I would receive my phone within the advised timeframe of 2-3 weeks. Beyond that date I can no longer use my PAC code and will have to go through the rigmarole of updating my telephone number with anyone that I hold an account with as well as family and friends. So when can I expect an update? Or is there a number I can call to get through to the right department, preferably a department that has not been trained that it is acceptable to lie through their teeth?

Thanks Matt, but after having spent 45 minutes on the phone today, it turns out that a computer glitch meant that whilst my order went through, the credit check didn't take place, so my order was cancelled on 01/11/14, without any notification whatsoever, so if I hadn't spend a load of time chasing it up, I would have just never received anything! Fortunately Matthew Foy in sales was super helpful and resolved the matter for me, got my order processed again and has said it will be arriving tomorrow. I'll still be keeping my fingers crossed however!

I was forced to move from o2 to Vodafone because of my geographic situation living on the border with Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.  Vodafone done the all Ireland deal which was suited well to me.  I went instore and took out the contract and ordered the iPhone 6 and paid my £129 deposit.  This was on the 4th October 2014. Since then have contacted Vodafone chat on numerous occasions to enquire about the delivery of the iPhone 6.  On one occasion was told it would be here on 29th October and would receive mail to that effect.   This date has long since passed.  One of the chat advisors said that I was on Pay as You Go.  This was baffling as I am on monthly business contract.  Have got my number ported over ok from o2 and am using sim in my iPhone 5 at the moment.  Each time I make an enquiry I am given the link which asks you to track the order.   Still no joy.   Its ironic that a friend of mine walked into Carphone Warehouse in the same shopping centre 2 weeks ago, signed up to Vodafone with exactly the same plan and walked out of the store with his iPhone 6 64gb Space Grey phone.  Sickened or what.   The rep in the shop where I ordered it could not have been more helpful even contacting me on his day off to see how things were progressing.  I know that a waiting time is inevitable for new phones but it is now going into its 6 week.   Vodafone have even given up sending email to advise me of the progress.   I hope some one from Vodafone is monitoring this forum and taking on board what I have said.  I am not going to hold my breath about a reply but here is hoping.............

I upgraded my phone to the iphone 6 16gb and then called to swap it for the 64gb over 4 weeks ago.
Initially I was told I would get it on 7th Oct. Nothing arrived.
I called to chase it up and was told there was no stock. I have now called up about 4 times and still have no luck on the phone or when it will arrive. I was told new deliveries areive every Tuesday and Thursday yet I have had no correspondance or apology for the delay nor an idea of when the phone will be delivered.
This is very poor service from vodafone, with whom I have been a loyal customer for years!!

Having spoken to call centre staff again today to get my number ported, I'm really happy how it was dealt with, although as it was after 5 I now have to wait til Friday for it to be transferred. But at least I have got my phone now.

I ordered a Christmas Hamper on the 11th November and this still hasn't arrived.  Original confirmation text told me within 10 days.

Hi,  Tried to contact Vodafone to find out what happened to my order.  I used by rewardz points to order a Christmas hamper, which never arrived and there is no point in receiving it now!!!  Was left holding on for well over half an hour and gave up in the end.  What a waste of time to save all the points, to then use them but never to receive what you ordered.  How do I get my points back without sitting on the phone again for this length of time?????
