PEOPLE CANT HEAR ME WHEN I CALL?!

When I call any number, people cannot hear me, I can hear them, and after 2 minutes if the person manages to stay on the phone then it connects.

When I am driving handsfree this does not happen.

Any ideas as this is really frustrating as everyone hangs up!

I can see how this would be frustrating for you.  

May I ask a few things....

• Does your phone have a front screen protector that maybe hindering the mic. 
• Does your phone have a case on it that again maybe hindering the mic. 
• Can you check the mic for dust / lint. 
• Does this happen everywhere.

As this does not occur when using a hands free and connects after a few minutes it sounds like possibly either a signal issue if it's occurring in a certain place or the phone itself has an internal hardware issue. 

As a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at issue can you please try your Sim Card in another phone and another sim card in your phone to see if the issue continues. 

If it turns out to be the SIM card then any Vodafone Highstreet Store can replace it via a Sim Swap. 

If it turns out to be the phone then if Vodafone supplied it then their Highstreet Store can check it over and if necessary send it off for diagnostics. 

Also another Avenue could be approaching the Manufacturer as they typically want to help too.
