Phone tracking Can't Locate

I recently upgraded my two year contract with vodaphone, after the phone I wanted was out of stock, I had to order a different phone and get it posted. I was ensured that my phone would arrive on (thursday 29th) as I am flying back over to uni on the Friday. The parcel was not recieved today which is very fustrating as I made sure I was home all day. the online tracking says that the delivery van couldnt locate? and it was sent back to the deport which is over 30mins away. I'm hoping they will resend my parcel tomorrow as I don't have time to drive all the way there on the day I'm getting my flight.  

I really need my phone to delievered by tomorrow morning. Please Help.

hi, I recently upgraded my contract and after the phone i wanted wasnt in stock in store I had to get a different phone posted out to me. it was very important that the phone arrived on thursday 29th as I fly back to uni on the Friday 30th. My phone however did not arrive today and on the DPD tracking says that it couldn't be located and was sent back to the deport which is over 30mins drive away! I don't have time on the day of my flight to be driving all the way to the deport when it wasn't even delievered in the first place. I made sure I was in the house all day but no driver arrived. Please help!

I appreciate how frustrating it is when an item does not turn up for whatever reason. 

 

I would suggest you call 191 or use Live Chat so they can access your Vodafone account, and liaise with the Delivery company. 

 

Although it's not really for you to chase up a delivery company but if you know which company it is, and can locate the telephone number for their Depot then you could try ringing them too. 

 

In both cases it maybe beneficial to add extra information to where you are such as extra directions / landmarks. 

 

I hope you get your phone asap.

Apologies for the delay in reaching your post @louisebarlow. Were you able to resolve this through@BandOfBrothers' advice?

I rang vodaphone and they helped me change the address, but dpd still havent updated the adress and its been a couple of days and i've called dpd and they keep saying it will be tomorrow and then there no parcel so i call again and they say the same that it will be tomorrow. So hopefully it will arrive by th end of this week as its been over a week since I ordered my phone now

no they now are saying it will be monday.

@louisebarlow Sorry to hear this. Hopefully you'll have your new phone with you in the morning. 

 

If not, it might be best to contact DPD again, to see what they can advise.
