Hi I've pre ordered the s8 through vodafone but my question is this.

If I've pre ordered the phone and get it 8 days early does the phone come with bloatware or do you do so many pre orders and get the phone sent straight to customers direct from samsung using dpd etc.

Hi,

The s8 supplied directly via Vodafone will have the Vodafone splash screen and Vodafone apps on it known as bloatware. 

It will also have Vodafones Firmware version on it and their CsC code and be initially locked to Vodafone.

I assume Vodafone will have secured a number of units from Samsung to satisfy this promotion in pre ordering.

Samsung would apply the Vodafone version of Nougat and lock them out. 

If a person buys Direct from Samsung then that phone will have no network bloat ware, untouched Nougat and be Factory unlocked.
