I set up a new Sure Signal last night. It took a long to set up, but then was working on 2 iPhones for a a few hours. However, this morning there is no service again on both phones.

What do I need to do to get this working please?

We’ve checked the connection to your Sure Signal and this appears to be fine. We’ve also sent a remote factory reset to the box. This can take upto 6 hours to complete, please stand close to your Sure Signal and reset your handset at around 8:00pm this evening.

Whilst checking this I can see that your internet upload speed (1mbps) is very close to the minimum speed required by the Sure Signal. If the reset doesn’t resolve the issue, it would be advisable to speak to your Internet Provider and see if the can boost the service for you, this will prevent this from happening again.

It's working well again now thank you.

Unfortunately, just over 1.0mbp upload is the best broadband we will get as we are in a village. BT can only provide 0.5M download, so we now have a separate network into the village, but as it still uses BT to the house we can't get much better. Also, I noticed that BT was working on the post just up the road this afternoon, so it's possible that might have had an impact.

Strange how there is no mention on the box, the leaflet inside or indeed at point of sale that covers anything about upload speeds.

The download speed is mentioned somewhere, I've seen it. I knew that we are on the limit of the minimum requirement.

However, after 10years of a working signal on Vodafone, (that's why I have continued as a customer) that signal disappeared before Christmas & no-one can tell me why. We were told there was going to be some temporary disruption while there was work in the area, but it never returned, so I suspect it has been upgraded somewhere, but our service has been the casualty in order to provide a better service to another area that already had a better service.

Therefore a Sure Signal is my last resort other than trying another network provider - none of which seem to be able to give any guarantees that we can get a signal.

Hi

After working for the last couple of months, my Sure Signal is not connecting again. I had problems initially, but it has worked fine for 2 months. Today, there has been no signal, it has been rebooted, was showing an error, restarted again & the lights show that it is working, but is not connecting to any of our phones.

What can I do please?

Can someone help please?
