Problem receiving calls from number on ee network

Hi

Has anyone else experienced problems receiving calls.from.a number on ee? My husband is on that network and today tried calling me for about an hour and kept.getting voicemail but I had four bars of signal....

Hello

Yes,  he’s been to the Vodafone shop a few times with his phone, and they confirmed there are no blocks.

EE and Vodafone are each blaming the fault with the other. 

Everything was fine, until he was going to switch provider, but changed his mind and stayed with Vodafone. They sent him a new SIM, but he hasn’t received a call or text from his grandchildren since then

So was the number to be ported to another provider and then cancelled / ported back in? The reason I keep going on about number ports is a split port is what always seem to be behind these kind of issues (plus somethings happened journey wise if it required a new sim to get service up and working again). If so, it would be worth calling Vodafone and asking to speak to the porting team and ask them to look into the current status of the number. These problems are easily fixed once the right people are involved. I wish you luck.
