I'd recommend preforming a factory reset on your phone. Please remember to back up any data that you don't want to lose.

Thanks for the replies,
I went into Settings and then Apps but I didn't find any relating to Vodafone Updates.The only Vodafone apps I seem to have is Net Perform and Contacts

Did you look just in Downloaded Apps, or All? There should be something there, as far as I'm aware, though my devices are all SIM-free at the moment, so I can't check.
