Regular bill no phone or account!

I pay a direct debit each month for £18.37

I have not got a vodafone and get no bill so they will not help me on the phone.

Is there an accounts department I can speak to?

How long have you been paying the bill @danielchadwick ?

 

Vodafone can be contacted the various ways in > Vodafone contact-us.

I'd suggest to try > Vodafone Landline Tel :03333040191 again and insist on a managers help and suggest this could be a case of fraud. Also I'd suggest to check your Credit File via http://www.experian.co.uk to check if any things been opened up in your name. 

When you ring the number ignore the prompts to key in the Vodafone Mobile number and on the 4th prompt it'll say press 1 for Payg and 2 for Pay Monthly. Choose Pay Monthly. 

We also have a Social Media Team here who read all posts and engage to help where they can. 

Speak to your Banks Customer Services in regards to the funds taken via Direct Debit as they maybe able to assist under the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Assuming you haven't previously had a contract that hasn't been cancelled properly, it sounds as though someone may have taken out a contract fraudulently in your name.   I think you best bet at this stage is to hang on for the forum team to pick this up and contact you.   If the amount isn't a massive problem, I'd be inclined not to cancel the DD in the first instance as, if your details are on it, you could land up with a credit default and a further problem to resolve.

Scammers are the scum of the earth, of course, but this isn't an unknown issue and all networks have ways of resolving it.
