I am a new Vodafone Broadband customer with Unlimited Fibre 76. The supplied router has poor access controls and parental controls. Is there any way I can turn it simply into a modem and connect my old Asus RTN66U as the primary device for wifi and use its GUI for device access? If not, I would be looking at a good cheap modem + router. Do you know if the TP Link Archer D2 AC750 would work or would I need to buy one with VDSL modem inbuilt? Any suggestions much appreciated.
