Hi, not sure if here or the Android location is the best place anyway my question is... About 8 months ago I sent my Google nexus 6P for a repair through my vodafone warrenty, they did fix it howevery it came back damaged with scratches, button dent and the back not completely alligned on. I spoke to them and as they no longer stocked the device they could not replace it but offered me to renew early for no extra cost (as long as the phone was up to the value of £420 max as that is what the nexus was worth in their eyes). I declined this as the point of the nexus line was high end android device for a cheap price so no other phone that vodafone sold at that price was worth it and instead have persevered with the damages and then the on going nexus problems (battery and being slow). I was wondering if any of you know anyway I am able to get out of my contract early for free because of it or get a phone that is at the same spec level (obviously times have changed and improved) instead of basing it on cost? I am currently out of the country and don't have time with the tedious live chat and cannot find an email to contact so was just asking for peoples views and advice.

Hi @vearan
Not a good situation to have been in ?
Which phones did Vodafone offer as an upgrade deal ?
I agree a replacement phone if the original is no longer available should be the same / similar specs and price bracket to the original.
The contract isn't connected to the actual phone the networks give (its a perk of a pay monthly contract) so the contract would remain running. You could pay it up via an early termination fee !
There isn't an email address as such to use. Customer Services via live chat or one of the route in the contact us options are the avenues to choose > https://www.vodafone.co.uk/contact-us/
