Can some explain to me what PPP session time is? Every week or so, my Internet connection restarts. The time the router has been active never resets (e.g. several weeks), but the PPP session time resets. Does anyone know why?
My Internet speeds are not affected when the router restarts. Thanks in advance.

Hi @flashforward
PPP stands for Point-to-Point Protocol. It is the part of the internet connection that links your exchange to your ISP. A test will be completed randomly to see if see if the router is still there. If it doesn't pick this up, it'll terminate the connection.
This shouldn't effect the day t day running of your broadband or speeds once it's restarts.
I hope this helps.
Thanks
