I have had Vodafone at my home for two years, no problems. I have tried to take advantage of the new lower charges, offered to old users, but apparently I need an engineer to call, at a cost of £60. WHY do I need an engineer?

Hi @rwwoodyatt
It's great to hear that you're lookning into getting broadband with us
Our mobile network is different to broadband, engineers would need to come out to get the line set up correctly.
If there's any other questions that you've got, please let us know.
Thanks

As I said I have had broadband, landline and mobiles , for two years. Why do I need an engineer just to put me on the cheaper tariff.

So, from your post, you are saying you've had Vodafone broadband for 2 years? You are merely just recontracting to get a better deal?
If so, then there should be no reason for an engineer to visit. Have you tried calling up and explaining?

If you already have an exisiting working line at the property you won't need an engineer. They will remove the cost from the bill once the order is processed.
