I'm going on holiday to dubai in September and i'm getting confusing messages about the roaming in dubai.
I called to confirm if Dubai would be included in the worldtraveller package and the person i spoke to confirmed that it would be. I then checked on the site and it said UAE is not included in the world traveller.
Can someone please confirm if i can take advantage of the world traveller whilst in dubai?
thanks

There have been a few posts recently on this subject and it does appear that PAYG in no longer available in Dubai.
O2 have also stopped PAYG in Dubai citing "commercial reasons" so maybe that also applies to Vodafone's service in the area.

Thank you. Much appreciated. It's not great that after an hour, Vodafone custome r support couldn't let me know that. Vodafaon, if you are reading this, please note that feedback and quest for your confirmation or otherwise. But again, thank you.

Please remember that PAYG still doesn't operate in the UAE.

Definitely UAE no longer on world traveller tariff
just ran up £1k bill
but Vodafone don't care and won't say why it has been removed

The Vodafone website makes it clear that the UAE isn't part of World Traveller. Did you check that before you went overseas? The reason why will be because the local carriers wanted to charge too much I would think. Also your spend should be capped unless you opted out of a cap.

World Traveller has never been offered in UAE.
