Router 2nd USB

My newly acquired vodafone router has a second USB port at the top. Can this be used to attach a usb hard disk? Thanks

Thanks for getting in touch @mrcs, as far as I'm aware you're unable to use a USB hard disk. I've found some useful information on the website on what the second USB port can be used for, such as file sharing.

Thanks for the response. I have a usb USB disk up and running on the side usb .But have as yet not been able to connect anything to the top one. The link that you provided did not refer to the top usb port.

I have plugged in the USB drive on the port on the side but it doesnt show up on OSX or windows 7.  Any tips ?

Try mapping a network drive to \\vodafone.connect\A

This works on Windows 10
