SONY XPERIA Z2 FREE TV OFFER, 1080p or 720p?

I have received my Z2 finally and im over the moon with it.

I have a question regarding the TV, im 100% eligible received text etc.

But the model number is very much in question in the sony t&c's the model number given is 1080p

However in the topic from vodafone the model number given is only 720p.

Does anyone know if its 1080p or what? Or should I ring Sony direct, any ideas on how I can get a concrete answer?

Thanks in advance.

I too have received a text and email from DPD confirming delivery tomorrow the 18th. So guess we'll wait and see, maybe finally we get some closure.

Came home tonight to a tv waiting in my living room. It is extremely light, the total boxed weight is only 8kg! Yes 8kg! This better not be some dummy tv I've been sent!! Lol.

I got R43B version. I'm happy with it.

Finally I've also got the R43B which is 1080p and says so in the back of the manual and also accepts the 1080p output from my Youview box.

Mine arrived also - KDL-32R43xB

Thanks Gemma for your help on this - things only got moving when you took up the case.  Please pass on my thanks to the people involved.

Prior to that, the whole process was a shambles - I hope Vodafone learn some lessons, and that the rest of you get your TVs soon.  Best of luck!

I've also just received this TV(kdl32r43), was highly sceptical as all the websites said it was 720p- and that's exactly what it is, despite official statements from Vodafone reps on here saying that it is full 1080p. The panel has a resolution of 1024x768, so if you set the TV to 1080p, it is just up scaling this. Considering how farcical the launch of this phone and it's delivery has been, I'm not even surprised.

This is of course, no comment on the quality of the TV, because I actually think that it's quite good. It's not what was promised though, and not much use for gaming, which is what it's intended use for me was to be.

I'm not sure that's correct it cleary states 1080 at the back of the manual.

IT is for sure 1080 p. 1080p output will work with it, what exactly you are looking for??????
