Hi there
Vodafone do not comment on if and when a firmware update will be available for a particular device. For reasons why, please read through their Firmware Statement
At this stage, I don't believe that Samsung have even confimed if they will be rolling out Android N to the S5. I personally would say that it is only likely to roll out to the more recent devices such as the S6 and S7.

Hi @Nichrome
Are you using a branded phone supplied by Vodafone?
If so then no official response would be made and you'd see the update in your software update settings if / when it's ready / available.
If your phone is unbranded then your not relying on Vodafone releasing it but Samsung. Therefore it maybe beneficial to maybe ask Samsung directly.
I hope you get the firmware you want.

At this stage Android N hasn't even been formally named, nor has a release date been confimed. Asking Samsung won't help when they haven't even finalised their plans yet and haven't made any announcements regarding which phones they'll be rolling Android N out to. So advising them to call Samsung is sending the OP on a wild goose chase.....

@Nichrome is searching for as much information as possible I believe > so along with using Google to accumulate as much believed could be information as possible it's not a negative avenue to engage with Samsung via their samsung uk support chat.
Of course this is completely up to the Op.

But pointless when a release date for the Android N hasn't even been formally announced yet. Nor is there any confirmation which handsets Samsung will be rolling it out to.
I could understand getting the OP to speak to Samsung about a release date if they had announced that they where rolling it out to the S5 and Android N had a confirmed release date, but until then, you are sending them on a wild goose chase.
