Hi,
I am selling my iPad Air 2 as my situation has changed and I now need a laptop. I am still in contract, and would like to use the data with the new laptop.
Do I need a dongle/particular device? Any advice how this might work would be greatly appreciated!

Hi
Does the laptop accept a SIM card or if you intend to get a dongle ensure it'll accept your SIM card.
Be aware your iPad uses iOS and accesses mobile versions of sites.
A laptop will access full rich pages and could use your data allowance faster. Updates on the laptop and background activity can use more data too.

Thank you, that is really helpful! I hadn't twigged about the rich pages.
Laptop doesnt have a space for the SIM, so can I just search for a dongle that fits a nano sim? Also any recommendations as to what to get - 'usb dongle for nano sim' in google is quite confusing!

Hi,
You're welcome.
A dongle you purchase must be either locked to Vodafone or unlocked to all networks.
Argos as another example sells them too i.e. Here.
Id suggest getting one that's been used on Vodafone. That way there shouldn't be much configuration to carry out on it.
The Vodafond Shop link I added hopefully will help.
Highstreet shops such as CEX as one example also sell used ones.
Regarding SIM card sizes the network shops and £1 shops sell plastic SIM card adapters that your nano SIM card sits in to make it into a larger size if required.
