Solution

Signal boost required for more than one building

I have a sure signal device working in the main house where the router is located.

I am looking for a solution to boost the mobile network signal in a new building which is at the same location but

will be outside the 30m radius.

There will be no router in the new building so I cannot use a second sure signal device.

Nextivity have the Cel-FI RS2 product and it's website list it as approved by other network operators but not Vodafone.

Any help as to a possible solution or if I can use the Cel-FI RS2 with Vodafone would be apprieciated.

Thank you

Joanne

Hi Joanne,

I’ve seen other customers mention on the forum that they’ve successfully used Wi-Fi extenders to increase the range of the Sure Signal.

If this is an option for you, we can’t advise on particular models for you to use.

As we haven’t approved the Nextivity system you mention, we would be able to offer any support for it.

I’ll leave it open to our many Sure Signal users who may have experience of the system.

Cheers,

Andrew

I have the main sure signal device connected to a switch in the main building and I have another switch on the same network in the other building with is over 30m away, will another sure signal device work if connected to the second switch?

Hi JT0307,

I've seen instances of them working with other customers, but we can't guarantee it.

The good news is that you have a 7 day cooling off period when purchasing a Sure Signal so if you find the setup doesn't work on the equipment you're using, you can always return it.

One of the best things about the eForum is that other users can share advice where my team are unable to do so for unsupported equipment. Feel free to share your experience too if and when you test it out. :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben
