Sony Xperia Z5 compact out of stock for good?

Hello, 

It seems that the whole UK is out of stock for these phones Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, does that mean they will never be back on the market for Vodafone? They were still there a week ago. Is it worth waiting in hopes it comes back on sale, or is it gone for good and the new X compact is the only choice? 
If so does anyone have X compact and how is the waterprofness ?

I personally like Sony Xperia phones. I had the z1 for a while. 

Unfortunately Vodafone wouldn't discuss with us here their business decision to hold or not hold certain models and makes of phone. 

Independents may supply certain makes and models.
