CID not working

Hi,

 

New connection activated yesterday then I noticed that the CID is not working, every incomming call is displayed as 'incoming call' from the handset (also the handset fails to update the time from network) 

 

I chated yesterday with Suraj from tech support, he wrote me that 'updasted the info on my account' and issue would be fixed in 15min, well, its over 15hrs since then and I still don't have CID on my line.  I also could not find any settings on my online account regarding the activation of the CID.

Hi

 

It should happen from Vodafone side. 

 

Did you open the contract directly with Vodafone or a 3rd party?

 

Or have you ported to Vodafone from another Network?

 

I assume no settings on your phone could be causing this. 

 

Can you try your sim card in another phone. 

 

Sometimes rebooting by turning it off and on can help.

Hi,

 

I contacted the tech support 3 times for this -once at chat, then direct call - the last time they told me the CID will be anabled in 24hrs , so t seems I have to wait till them.  I read the info about the CID , definitely my handset is compatible (used so far with BT and Talktalk  and CID worked fine) 

I will update the thread again.
