I paid my bill this morning at 0800 (late) and I am still Barred from network and SMS and calls? My mum is also on this contract and needs to be able to contact people urgently. Please help.

It depends how the bill was paid. If you paid through the automated payment service on 56677, the money goes to your account quickly. However, if it was paid online, it generally takes a few days for the money to go to your account.
If you have been disconnected for non payment, Vodafone will send a text to let you know the payment has been received and when you can expect to have full service, you will however be able to receive calls and texts.
