My SureSignal 2 will not connect. It has been like this for days despite a factory reset, router factory reset and a lot of patience! Can someone help me out here please?

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. The lights were flashing together. Called in today via chat and a lady explained that it hadn't connected for some time (sinec 20 Sept). It seems my router firmware was corrupt as half the interface wasn't responding and it was locking ports. I've changed router and within 20 minutes it was on and a happy suresignal!
All solved!
Many thanks though and to the lady on the phone today. Certainly recomment the chat link via the webiste,

Hi Jenny
I have now changed back to using the virgin router.
Have setup the router for all port forwarding, including the additional virgin ports
turned on the ip sec option
made the sure signal have a static ip.
Carried out a tracert which shows it getting to vodaphone germany
have registered the sure signal, and confirmed two numbers.
Have reset the unit a thousand times
and still nothing !!
Can you check to see if my sure signal is talking to your server, and before a reset from your end please

Thanks Matt

Hi @mattfitch
Please make sure that the IPSEC setting has been selected on the router, if you’re unsure on how to do this, please contact your internet service provider.
If this doesn’t help, please let us know your Vodafone Sure Signal serial number.
Cheers,
Laura

Hi @mattfitch
Everything looks ok from our end.
Have you recently updated your SIM? If so please remove your number from the Sure Signal.
Perform a hard rest on the phone and then re add the number to the Sure Signal. Finally reset this so that the Sure Signal picks up the SIM card.
Thanks,
Sukhi
