I bought a VSS 3 a few months ago as I get no signal in my house.
I installed and registered the device ok, but it has never worked reliably. it will drop out periodically throughout the day both in and out of calls. The usual situation being all indicators deluminated accept for the vertical red LED. After a few seconds the internet indicator will flash slowly on and off and then the device will after some random indeterminate time reconnect and both lights will come back to solid white.
I gave up with the thing after several weeks as it was dropping out on virtually every inbound and outbound call, forcing me to run to the only room in the house where I can get a week 2G signal.
I have now decided to see if I can get some support to get this working reliably, or alternative advice on the best way to attached it to a brick and further advice on the most appropriate target to launch said modified device toward. It does go down at present as this worst purchase I have ever made, and the most disappointed I have ever been in a product.
