Hi we are new to Sure Signal and are using the device in a commercal setting. Can the Sure Signal be connected to the internet via a switch rather than direct into the router?

Hi IReS,

We don't support it but we have seen it working in some cases.

You need to make sure that IPSec passthrough is enabled.

You'd also need to ensure that your network security isn't blocking the Sure Signal at all.

Check that the following are allowed:

Ports to be opend for forwarding:

  • 8 (TCP & UDP)
  • 50 (TCP & UDP)
  • 53 (TCP & UDP)
  • 67 (UDP)
  • 68 (UDP)
  • 123 (UDP)
  • 500 (UDP)
  • 1723 (TCP & UDP)
  • 4500 (UDP)
  • 33434 - 33445 (UDP)

IP ranges to be allowed:

  • 212.183.133.177-179
  • 212.183.133.181-182
  • 212.183.131.128-191
