Sure Signal lights on but nobody home....

Slimer
4: Newbie

Sure Signal v1 - serial no 21196938308

Lights 1, 2 & 4 on but no 3G (have tried a couple of phones)

Have de-registered/registered and reset, still nothing, guess I need a resync?

Would appreciate if you could look in to ASAP as the local mast is playing up (again!) so no mobile signal most of the time

Cheers

Simon

Can you try a reset - the usual press reset for 10, pull the power while keeping reset pressed, put the power in while keeping it pressed still, wait for the lights to flash, release.

But at the same time as pulling the power out, remove the ethernet cable too.

Plug the eithernet back in after the lights have settled down and see if it helps (it has been known to)

Failing that a resync or maybe even firmware upgrade may be able to be pushed out to the device.

Haven't tried a reset with the cat6 unplugged, will try that now

Unfortunately that didn't fix it :smileysad:

Can an admin take a look please?

Okay, presume I'm missing something somewhere on this forum, how do I flag this for an 'officials' attention? :smileyfrustrated:

Have previously started a new thread and posted in another but seems I'm being ignored/missed by the tech guys that can look into this?

Dual broadband links with Sure Signal bound to link 2 though would failover to 1 if 2 went down, have tested on both links.
Current external IPs (both DHCP so can change): 1 = 91.125.50.233, 2 = 146.66.37.7

Speed test result: 1 = Down 6.67Mbps, Up 0.37 MBps, 2 = Down 5.60Mbps, Up 0.69MBps

Ping test result: 1 = 30ms with line quality A, 2 = 45ms with line quality A

Hi Simon

I have merged your new post with the existing thread as it will make it a lot easier to respond to and will save duplication of information.  One of the eForum Team will be along as soon as they can to look into the issue for you, please be patient as they are quite a small team and it can take a little while to get a response.

PWIAC

Thanks

Hi Slimer,

This issue was relating to the firmware version your Sure Signal was using.

I've pushed out an update to the latest firmware now, this can take up to 24 hours to complete. Please keep the Sure Signal plugged in during this time.

Let me know how you get on,

Kay

Kay,

Thank you, seems to be working okay currently so I guess it's received the new firmare.

Will keep an eye on it for a few days

Cheers

Simon
